{"id":4637,"date":"2018-06-04T16:51:13","date_gmt":"2018-06-04T15:51:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mulier.hr\/?p=4637"},"modified":"2018-06-04T16:52:03","modified_gmt":"2018-06-04T15:52:03","slug":"women-stress-and-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mulier.hr\/en\/women-stress-and-health\/","title":{"rendered":"Women, Stress and Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>The Female Mind <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to define a woman, when they are all so different?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Men would say \u2013 women are all the same. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is it that makes them different, and what makes them the same? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desires in the soul of every woman are different.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every one of them desires something else. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some women deep down desire for a child \u2013 they are archetypal Demeters. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Others want to get married and to be paired off \u2013 they are archetypal Heras. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some do not want to grow up \u2013 they want to be forever young, they do not want to make up their mind, they want to keep their options open, they are adaptable and depend on others \u2013 they are archetypal Persephones. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These women within us make us vulnerable and dependent on men. \u00a0These are the desire for motherhood, for marriage, and striving to be dependent on someone. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is this powerful urge to meet the needs of others, to please others, to nurture. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women can satisfy this urge by choosing a career involving helping others (such as a nurse), not only by getting married, giving birth or being dependent. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, the focus is on others, we observe and feel what other people need, we adapt. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If their life is not balanced well enough, these women have the potential to become victims. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then again, some women want nothing but peace; they take pleasure in peace and contemplation \u2013 they are archetypal Hestias. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are also those who (to the surprise of some men) want a career, success, a family, children; they want it all, they are guided by reason, not driven by emotion \u2013 they are archetypal Athenas. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On top of all this, there are some women who set goal after goal in their lives (they take interest after interest, forever wanting something new), they reach these goals, they are belligerent, brave and good friends \u2013 they are archetypal Artemises. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These female parts within us make us invulnerable and independent of men and others. Owing to them, our attention is focused on satisfying our desires and meeting our needs. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this case, we put ourselves first, we are focused on ourselves. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If their life is not balanced well enough, these women have the potential to become selfish and lonely. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So then, some women are more focused on meeting their own needs, and some on meeting other people\u2019s needs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those who mainly meet the needs of others would normally say: \u201cPoor little me\u201d. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those who mainly meet their own needs would say: \u201cI, I, I \u2026 want, want, want\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But both kinds of women have something in common &#8211; \u00a0femininity.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of them live their femininity, many don\u2019t. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Femininity is about wanting to be beautiful, seductive, attractive. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We want to have luxuriant hair, sparkling eyes, manicured hands, we want to smell like a million dollars. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We want to be admired regardless of being introvert or extrovert. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We want other people\u2019s attention. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We know how to give attention, how to draw attention, we know how to be fun. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We feel they want to hear us. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We want to know that they have heard us. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We want to see that they have soaked up every word we said.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We radiate sensuality and seductiveness. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We aspire to creative professions; we don\u2019t worry about the future. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is archetypal Aphrodite \u2013 the goddess of love, sensuality, creativity, beauty, art. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If she does not rely on wise moves, this woman has the potential to be condemned by others. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Female Emotions <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is the problem? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The problem is that we do not use all our capacities, but we get stuck in one role. Little by little we limit ourselves. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We sacrifice those parts of ourselves that give us strength (and nourish our soul) for those parts that seek validation from the society. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, regardless of the talents we posses, we get stuck in \u201csomething secure\u201d. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is nothing worse than security. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cA ship in harbor is safe, but it is built for sailing.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These women in us that bring peace, beauty, strength into our lives \u2013 such as Aphrodite (a wish to be beautiful, settled, creative), such as Hestia (who wants to read her book undisturbed), such as Artemis (who wants to go mountain climbing with her friends every weekend) \u2013often get sacrificed for motherhood, marriage, fatal dependence on someone. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, we need balance. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Balance is something to be achieved. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Where to start from? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Where did it all begin? \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fact is that we are born with certain archetypes. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some girls play with dolls, and some run wild with boys in the neighborhood. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That is undeniable. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember who you are.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read the book by Jean Shinoda Bolen \u201cGoddess in Everywoman\u201d, find yourself, and find the places where you got lost. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because, if you don\u2019t wake up in the morning with a song inside you, with a sparkle in your eyes and the will to live \u2013 you are lost. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, no doubt, we are born with a fixed personality. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we desire for a child, we have the mother archetype. We should nurture it. But let\u2019s not go to extremes, to stop caring for ourselves. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we wanted to conquer the world, this desire would never cease. Do not try to convince yourself that you do not want it any more, but find a way to satisfy it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be yourself.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But first, understand what you are. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then take the next step. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gradually develop all other archetypes \u2013 the mother, the wife, the dependent woman, the adventurous woman, the successful and reasonable woman, the quiet woman, the seductive woman. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop the archetype you lack. Because each has its advantages. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will make you complete and strong. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And that means \u2013 happy. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLife is too short to be finding yourself for too long.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What would then be the first step? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop Aphrodite within you. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the energy of Aphrodite is activated, everything starts changing. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What should you do?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Focus on making yourself look beautiful. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are already doing this, then bring awareness, tranquility, and more time into it. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, don\u2019t rush to the hairdresser, but take your time and prepare for the pleasure. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let your hair shine. This is your shine. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That is just a small step, the first step, but an important one. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each woman will take different steps. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each has her own goal, her own problem, her desires, and aspirations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are workshops and lectures in which we teach details, pass on our knowledge and adapt it to each person individually. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, what happens if a woman does not satisfy her soul\u2019s desires? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If she wants to be a mother, but it does not happen? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If she wants a life full of new interests, new people, new cities, but gets stuck in the middle of nowhere with the people who bore her? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What if she wants to be a successful manager, but has a strong archetype of Hera (desire to be married), thus devotes herself fully to fulfilling her husbands wishes, disregards her own ones, and becomes a nervous and dissatisfied wife? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What if she wants a family, but instead her life is dedicated to career, so she remains lonely and unhappy? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What if\u2026?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Well, you know the answer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She will get drowned in the emotions of dissatisfaction. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She will feel it through sadness, fury, fears. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She will feel it through the loss of a desire to be pretty, seductive, creative. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She will feel she is no longer alive. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She will feel like a robot that carries out tasks \u2013 she will lose the emotion of life. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Female Body <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of course, our emotions are visible on our body. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a woman is neglected, the first thing she loses is that sparkle in her eyes. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For me, there is nothing more beautiful than a woman with sparkling eyes. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eyes are the best indicator of how much life there is in someone, how much spirit. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I was recently asked about the difference between the spirit and the soul. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The soul is made up of all the things I have previously mentioned \u2013 the combination of archetypes, that is, the combination of desires. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because, the soul is the one that desires. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The soul constantly desires. The soul longs for miraculous things. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The soul longs for the food that will provide miraculous experiences. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the food for the soul means being paired off (getting married), then the soul should be nourished by marrying wisely (have a good man by our side) and enjoying that person. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the food for the soul means being adventurous, then the soul should be nourished by searching for new things, new people, new challenges, new interesting and inspirational situations. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In any case, the soul should be nourished. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depending on how you nourish your soul (your desires), that is what your spirit will be like. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The spirit is a moving force. It keeps you going. The more you nourish your soul, the more strength, motivation, more will to live you have. \u00a0Nothing is difficult any more. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t think too much, but take action, enjoy doing it and take pleasure in results. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The spirit reflects our \u201cstate of mind\u201d. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are we stiff, inert, ironical towards life, or do we approach life with humor and calmness? \u00a0Or with determination and strictness? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, when we nourish our soul and satisfy our desires, our spirit is livelier, and our body reflects it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In medicine, there is a saying \u2013 Function promotes structure, and structure promotes function. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When we work out, our muscles build up and get stronger. As they get stronger, we want to work out more. This is how a vicious circle of promoting structure and function is formed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The same is with digestion. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we stimulate our digestion in a healthy way, and the best way to do it is by being physically active and eating slowly and mindfully, then our digestion system becomes healthier, and we don\u2019t have to think about food, but merely enjoy it. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we always go to the toilet at the moment when we feel we need to go, then the muscles of our bladder will be trained to function properly and at the right time. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we walk 10 miles a day, and, since our human anatomy demonstrates we are designed to walk, then our spine will be flexible. I would like to add though, that the majority of problems in the lower back are caused by digestive disorders. But, as I have already mentioned, physical activity is the key to good digestion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are crying out right now \u201cBut I don\u2019t have time!\u201d, then you urgently need a change! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you don\u2019t have time for health, you\u2019ll have time for sickness. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you don\u2019t have time for a walk, for a quiet meal, then you\u2019ll be dealing with hormonal imbalance, so you\u2019ll be going to hospitals, seeing doctors, having check-ups, searching the Internet to find about the health of the ovaries and the thyroid, and the solution will be further and further away, because your focus is wrong.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should be focused on health, not on sickness. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should be focused on pleasure, not on carrying out tasks mechanically.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take some time to think about the things you do every day. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are those things you really want to do, have to do, need to do, should do or enjoy doing? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So now, take a few moments of your time to answer the above questions, and you are already on the right track. If you ignore this, you are not interested in yourself. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then why should anyone else be? \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Start thinking about the right things, the ones that lead to a solution. Stop being focused on your problems. Focus on solutions. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Focus on health, wealth, beauty. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go back to the beautiful parts of yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Return briefly to your soul, you need strength for your spirit. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you have spirit (energy), then you work out, you are physically active, you eat good food, you sing, dance, have fun, socialize, meet your body\u2019s needs, you do yourself up, you are radiant, you live life. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t ask too many questions, don\u2019t stop living. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s go, let\u2019s go, let\u2019s go! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLife is too long to be sick and tired.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Diet, Preparations, Lifestyle, Stress Relief <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is a real life like? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A thirty-year old woman who is constantly stressed out, because she wants to be successful at work, wants to tame her husband, wants her kids to do great at school, wants to help her parents, wants to look good, wants a nice apartment, wants to travel \u2026 starts slowly forgetting what she actually wants. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She confuses her own wishes with the wishes of her husband, her children, parents, the society. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She wants it all. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But the question is what she enjoys the most? What nourishes her soul? What raises her spirit (energy)? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Little by little, she turns forty and feels the first symptoms of disease. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She still does not consider it to be a disease, but only stress-related problems, temporary symptoms, something that will go away. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She only suffers from headaches, muscle aches, fatigue, dry skin, poor digestion, dissatisfaction\u2026 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is hard to find such a diagnosis in Latin. That is why you don\u2019t seek a diagnosis. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But there certainly is a diagnosis for it! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And it is far from being harmless! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is all the beginning of the end.
