Treatment and health maintenance with the Mulier method involves the following:
- Individual approach – every person is unique
- Eliminating of all disease symptoms – healing the individual through the right combination of methods in the correct hierarchy and sequence
- Maintaining the spine, hormones and emotions is a prerequisite for lasting prevention – continuous individual education and monitoring by a doctor
Our body functions according to hierarchy. At the top of the hierarchy is the brain, which issues commands to endocrine glands that secrete hormones. Hormones are released directly into the blood and reach the target organs and cells, transmitting the information or command of what the organ should do. This way, the brain controls all functions in the body.
The Mulier method takes into account all the current symptoms of the body and emotions, determines the state of the tissues and physical and biochemical reactions in the substrate.
What does it mean to be healthy? It means that all the glands (pituitary gland, thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, ovaries, testes) work flawlessly, the spine is flexible, healthy, and we feel calm and safe (absence of sadness, anger, fear).
If there is a process happening in the body (inflammatory, degenerative), the symptoms always first and most prominently reflect on these three systems: hormones, spine, emotions. This is where every therapy should begin.
- Healthy spine (supple, flexible, healthy)
- Healthy hormones (products of the following glands: digestive hormones, hormones of the pituitary gland, thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, ovaries)
- Healthy emotions (peace and security)
Spine
The spine has 33-34 vertebrae. It starts with 7 cervical vertebrae, continues with 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar, 5 sacral, and ends with 4 or 5 coccygeal vertebrae. If you place your hand on someone’s back, you will feel the spinous processes of each vertebra, and by their curve, you can see spinal deformities. Severe spinal deformities can compromise breathing and consequently affect heart function. But even minor spinal deformities and pain can affect the quality of our breathing, which in turn affects all organ functions as it delivers oxygen to cells. Every pain in the body is always an indicator of a lack of oxygen in cells. The causes can be multiple.
Obesity can lead to spinal deformities. Digestive problems too.
Endocrine glands are located near the spine. Thus, the thyroid gland is located in the front of the neck, in the region of the 7th cervical vertebra. The main function of the thyroid gland is metabolism regulation.
Pain in the cervical spine can indicate inflammation of the joints, lack of synovial fluid, displacement of discs, dehydration throughout the body, accumulation of excessive lactic acid, and energetically, it means being overloaded with solving others’ problems while neglecting one’s own needs. Reasons can also be more serious: spondylosis, metastases, osteoporosis, osteopenia.
In the cervical part of the spine, the nerves that innervate the surrounding area come out of the spinal cord, so if the spine is not flexible, it can press on the nerves and cause problems in the vicinity (e.g., tingling in the arms).
For spinal health, it’s important to learn to exercise correctly and breathe correctly.
When treating INDIVIDUALLY, it’s necessary to discern which of the mentioned problems are constitutional, emotional, or functional.
Hormoni
Hormones form the foundation of the body’s information system. They transmit information from the center (brain) about what needs to be done on the periphery. Computers work the same way.
The main glands are the pituitary, thyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas, and sex glands.
They secrete hormones directly into the blood, and hormones travel through the blood to target organs. For instance, ovaries secrete estrogen that travels to a target organ (e.g., uterus, breasts) and induces changes.
Hormones are carriers of life energy, which they transform into the function of an organ.
If you have sufficient life energy (motivation for life), then glands function healthily. However, if there are emotional issues, gland function weakens and can lead to illness.
All these glands, except the pituitary, are located alongside the spine.
Emotions
The four primary emotions are love, fear, sadness, and anger.
It’s not necessary to suppress emotions or transform them into something else; it’s necessary to experience these emotions but eventually let them go from our lives and move forward. The biggest problem arises from holding onto old emotions from times and situations that are no longer relevant in our lives.
Albert Einstein also said that life is like riding a bicycle – to keep your balance, you must keep moving!
And that’s indeed the case. When you stop with a negative emotion you experience due to an unpleasant event and continue to nurture it, live with it, you halt your life. Life is designed for movement, change, accepting changes, engaging in new things, circulating.
For example, a person with varicose veins, thrombosis, cold hands and feet indicates weak life circulation. Thrombosis is the final stage that can be dangerous and life-threatening. In such cases, the right therapy must be taken, but one must also move towards life. Methods that can help include: heparins, low molecular weight heparins, digestive enzymes, high doses of vitamin C, alkaline supplements, dietary changes, detox diets, gluten-free diets, high doses of cold-pressed oil, omega-3 (therapy is individual for each person – this is not a recommendation)… and THE CHOICE OF THERAPY IS INDIVIDUAL.
Furthermore, understanding one’s problems can be addressed through transactional analysis, which explains what one is doing wrong and offers solutions. For acute states of fear, anxiety, sadness, anger (if they frequently occur without an obvious objective reason), the person is taught how to quickly overcome unpleasant feelings using the EFT method. Developing one’s own goal (SMART) and vision can be very helpful. For those who like to control their life, the NLP technique is excellent. For emotions, constitutional homeopathic therapy can help – where a homeopathic remedy helps the person return to their own energy. Finally, spiritual health is the most important health and from it, all our strength emerges.
THE CHOICE OF THERAPY IS AGAIN INDIVIDUAL, depending on the person’s constitution, habits, possibilities.
The therapy includes, depending on the individual:
- Preparatory phase of detoxification
Before each therapy, it is necessary to clean the body and prepare it for new food, herbal preparations, vitamins, minerals, medicines - Detoxification, nutritional and functional nutrition
Nutrition program is the basis of therapy. Everyone should have an individual diet program for a specific period - Therapy for immune status
In order for therapy to be successful, it is necessary to strengthen the body and raise the level of immunity - Antiparasitic program and liver cleansing
If there are signs of chronic fatigue of unknown origin, body pains, serious serious illnesses, it is necessary to carry out an antiparasitic program and liver cleansing - Orthomolecular therapy
All vitamin and mineral deficiencies need to be compensated - Natural preparations and/or medicines – individually according to the diagnosis
- Homeopathy and Bach drops
If there have been major changes in the organism, and the person feels as if he is in someone else’s body and mind, it is necessary to perform constitutional homeopathic therapy. Also in the case of a condition where a person cannot move on their own. Homeopathy can also be used for minor disorders - Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is introduced for inflammatory and stressful conditions. It can be additional therapy with other methods and it can be independent therapy
Exercise and breathing exercises
Every disease represents a lack of oxygen in the cells. Proper exercise can increase strength, and breathing exercises can reduce pain in the body (if any) and calm the mind.
The choice of therapeutic methods and their order is determined by the doctor.
